GIVING BACK

GIVING BACK

INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY

Timber companies in Oregon have a long tradition of investing in their communities and we are proud to continue this practice. We are committed to being good neighbors and giving back by providing family wage jobs, supporting our schools, buying local whenever possible, and making our lands available for educational and recreational purposes.

Tours

Do you want to learn more about how we manage our forestlands? Are you interested in exploring Oregon's woodland ecosystems? As a company, we place a high value on education and reconnecting our communities back to our working forests and the land. Our president happily offers educational tours on our properties. Contact us to schedule a tour for your class, club, or other organization.

Planting Day

We love to give students, scouting groups, and other members of our community an opportunity to get their hands dirty and experience life in a working forest. One of the most important things we do is replanting after harvesting and actively caring for our young trees. There's nothing quite like putting a seedling in the ground to connect you with nature. Come experience it for yourself. Contact us to schedule a planting day for your group.

Recreation

Our love of the land is at the heart of why we work so hard to actively manage our working forests. We feel incredibly blessed to have access to these beautiful, peaceful natural ecosystems. And we want to share these lands with others. Contact us to request access for hiking, hunting, or foraging of fungi, berries, and floral foliage.

Reconnecting People with the Land

We want to share our forests with others to help people reconnect with the land and learn about the value of responsible forest management. Connect with us to find out about accessing our lands, scheduling a tour, or getting involved with a planting day event.
